The Hotel Redfish is a very spacious and pleasant place, with some very large rooms, and can be adapted to suit various group needs, from small groups split into single and double / twin rooms, to larger student groups looking for comfortable dormitory type arrangements.  The English owner is on hand to help with the planning of your groups’ transport needs, food, and general questions about your itinerary.

Redfish only has 8 rooms, thus is suitable for smaller groups between as few as 6, and up to 24 guests, and we have some very special rates for stays of around a week (for less than US$240,00 a week for students: see examples below).

Redfish Bahia Experience - The real Salvador da Bahia; it's history, it's culture, it's energy!! One week of activities including drumming schools, historic tours, and social programs, for school and college groups.

Matrizes - A journey of discovery of the roots of Samba, where it came from, how it developed, how it is now played, and about it's importance to Brazilian music today. One week of workshops, demonstrations and trips into the interior.

Redfish Dance - A celebration of the popular dances originating from Salvador and the surrounding country including Samba, Samba de Roda, Samba Reggae, Forro, Afro-Brazilian dance and, fo course Capoeira. A week of workshops, classes, lectures and trips.
